Lawrence Berkeley National Lab’s ( LBNL ) Applied Mathematics and Computational Research Division has an opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join the team.
In this exciting role, you will conduct fundamental and applied research in the use of AI / ML for the generation and transpilation of accurate, distributed memory, high-performance computations on GPU-accelerated supercomputing platforms.
What You Will Do :
- Leverage AI / ML including existing large language models (LLMs) to generate (prompt-based) or transpile (source to source) distributed-memory, high-performance computations targeting GPU-accelerated supercomputing platforms.
- Augment such technologies and techniques to maximize performance and scalability, maintain numerical properties, and enhance readability and maintainability.
- Publish and present research results in high-impact journals and top conferences in the areas of machine learning and parallel computing.
