Position Summary:
An immediate position is available for a Trailer Technician in the Roanoke, Virginia Trailer Shop. Lawrence Companies is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Shop team. This is an hourly full time position, with overtime and weekend work required.
Essential Job Requirements
- Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, including brake, tire, and wheel end repair
- Repair lighting and air system hoses and brake components
- Ensure safe and proper tool usage, including maintenance of all equipment associated with the job
- Track repair order time to completion
- Record all maintenance as required
- Keep working area clean and organized
- Follow written and oral instructions
Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Basic computer knowledge
-
Equipment Maintenance Experience
-
Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of air systems

Welding knowledge is preferred

Must be dependable and customer service oriented

Good verbal communications & documentation skills preferred

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Must have valid Virginia Driver’s License
