The Controller's responsibilities include ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, analyzing financial data and presenting reports to the CEO and Board of Directors, preparing operating budgets, and coordinating audits. Additionally, the role involves overseeing accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, managing accounts payable and receivable transactions, and developing and enforcing internal controls.
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA certification, and possess at least 10 years of experience in nonprofit accounting.
