Lawrence County Community Action Partnership (LCCAP) seeks to fill the position of Healthy Homes Specialist I, a key role within the Healthy Homes Department, responsible for identifying potential clients and qualifying them for lead remediation and/or housing rehabilitation programs offered through the agency.
The Healthy Homes Specialist assists eligible clients who are seeking renovations or repairs to their residences well as provides other direct client services, education and outreach to the communities within our service areas. The Specialist also works closely with other members of the department to ensure compliance with the various grant requirements.
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree or two to four years of related experience and/or training or a combination of education and experience. Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal relational skills are essential in addition to proficiency using various databases and spreadsheets.
This exciting full-time opportunity entails 35 hours per week, complete with comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits covered by the employer.
