Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection and processing of specimens, including blood sampling and other laboratory procedures.
- Perform venipuncture and ensure proper handling of specimens to maintain integrity for testing.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation for patient records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support during laboratory procedures.
- Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to assist in various laboratory tasks effectively.
- Follow established protocols for specimen collection processing, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, including specimen collection processing and blood sampling techniques.
- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to support accurate specimen handling and patient care.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing laboratory practices.

Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
