Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. Duties
- Perform general custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
- Assist with residential painting and touch-ups as needed to keep facilities looking fresh and inviting.
- Carry out commercial cleaning tasks in various settings, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively to promote sustainability within the facility.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues that require attention.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
Perferred:
- Proven experience in custodial or industrial cleaning roles
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds if necessary.
- A commitment to safety practices and procedures while performing cleaning duties.
