What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Teacher Substitute position at Lawrence Day School?
We are seeking a Part-Time Teacher Substitute to join our team! This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children (Infants - Preschoolers) and have a flexible schedule. As a substitute teacher, you will step in to support classrooms as needed, ensuring a safe, fun, and educational environment.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in a caring and positive manner.
- Implement daily activities and routines in accordance with classrooms plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Follow school policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of all children.
- Communicate effectively with staff, children, and families.
- Follow proper diaper changing procedure as posted in each classroom.
- Serve Breakfast, Lunch and a P.M Snack.
Requirements
- Experience working with young children (Infants - Preschoolers).
- Must be reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children.
- Ability to pass background checks and mee state licensing requirements.
- CPR/First Aid Certification

- CDA, Associate's, or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education
