What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Support position at Lawrence Fabric & Metal Structures Inc.?
We are a custom manufacturer of traditional fabric & metal awnings and canopies, tension structures, and architectural elements. Production support will provide support to a variety of positions during production to meet deadlines and ensure quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve on completion team
- Serve as installer when needed
- Troubleshoot problems and coach others
- Enter materials and labor into shop track
- Train and develop others on fitting and stapling
- Grind frames as needed
- Assist where needed (painting, set up, loading, moving finished goods)
- Grommeting as needed
- Assist with packaging and shipping
- Ability to read and interpret a LF&MS job ticket that is in English
- Ability to write and speak English sufficient to communicate LF&MS work job ticket related subject
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to read, understand and pass pertinent LF&MS internal hiring tests with a score of 70% or higher
- Good technical and mechanical skills
There is a background check and drug screening after acceptance of position and prior to starting.
Salary : $15 - $19
