Are you passionate about integrating technology into teaching? Do you want to be a leader in shaping digital learning at LFDCS? We’re looking for enthusiastic educators from all buildings—Academy to Upper School—to join the Innovative Learning Team (ILT) for the 2025-2026 school year!
What is the Innovative Learning Team?
ILT members explore the SAMR model to enhance and transform lessons through technology. They become leaders in digital instruction, experimenting with district technology like Apple TV and Promethean ActivPanel to create engaging, learning experiences for students and data-rich results for teachers.
As an ILT member, you’ll be the voice for your grade level/building, bringing ideas, challenges, and celebrations to the team. You’ll also help shape the direction of digital teaching and learning at LFDCS by sharing insights at monthly ILT meetings and presenting at building or school-wide meetings.
ILT Member Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to explore best practices in technology-enhanced learning.
- Apply the SAMR model to integrate technology into lesson plans.
- Experiment with digital apps to create engaging, data-rich activities.
- Share key takeaways at grade-level and building meetings.
- Actively engage in discussions on Schoology to collaborate with fellow ILT members.
Time Commitment:
- Approximately 4-5 hours per month, including:
- 1-1.5 hour monthly meetings
- Time to apply new concepts, create activities, and share insights
- 1-1.5 hour monthly meetings
Requirements:
- ILT meetings / regular check-ins with the Digital Instructor.
- Take notes to share key insights from grade-level/building meetings with the team.
- Lead and model effective tech integration for colleagues.
- Submit an end-of-year portfolio showcasing your work with SAMR and your leadership role.
- Present at one school-wide event to showcase your learning.

Compensation:
- $2,000 stipend - paid in 2 equal installments: January 2026 and June 2026. Final payment made when ILT portfolio has been submitted and approved
