Penetration Tester (Product Security Engineer)
Onsite in SF or NYC
$160-200k base salary
I’m supporting a very exciting, rapidly-growing, data analytics and business intelligence SaaS company headquartered in SF who are looking for an experienced Penetration Tester (Product Security Engineer) to join them.
This is a brand new role within the organization and they’re looking someone with strong product pentesting experience to help secure a platform used by 300,000 active daily users. This role will be responsible for conducting blackbox penetration testing (on Web, SaaS applications & cloud infrastructure), red teaming, vulnerability research, conducting code reviews and threat modelling. We’re looking for someone who has a hands-on understanding of attack vectors and can execute activities across security testing and architecture review to build secure solutions.
Key skills and experience:
- Demonstrable experience within the Product Security space with a track record of implementing and owning cloud-based platforms
- Must have experience with blackbox penetration testing – ideally also have experience on other offensive security roles such as red teaming or ethical hacking
- Ideally have a software engineering background that consisted of conducting code reviews and threat modelling
- Familiarity with Golang Python, Java or similar programming languages
