SCADA Operations Engineer
$130-140k base salary
I’m currently partnering with a US-based building materials manufacturer who are looking for a SCADA Operations Engineer who will be supporting control process operations across several company locations.
This role will be working on a Hybrid basis is one of the following locations: Dallas TX, Joplin MO, Tuscaloosa AL, Phillipsburg KS, Frederick MD, Knoxville TN, Inwood WV
The SCADA Engineer will be responsible for driving efficiency, automation and reliability of control processes with a core focus on the AVEVA System Platform, SCADA systems, SQL queries and PLC hardware. They will work as part of a cross functional Controls team on long-term projects with a strong emphasis on improving SCADA operations by remediating issues, identifying root causes of tickets and resolving configuration issues. Other responsibilities include developing & writing SQL code, troubleshooting machine electrical drawings, developing company-wide standards and providing training.
Key skills & experience:
- Demonstrable experience with SCADA systems, software development and controls engineering
- Must have AVEVA System Platform/Wonderware experience
- Understanding of manufacturing systems
- Knowledge of web handling production processes
- Experience with PLCs, AutoCAD and MS SQL server is ideal
- Must be open to traveling up to ~15% of the time
