Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including patient rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Disinfect and sanitize equipment, surfaces, and patient-care areas.
- Manage hazardous waste disposal according to regulations and facility policies.
- Implement infection control procedures, including hand hygiene and personal protective equipment (PPE) use.
- Respond to spills and accidents promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with facility staff to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
To be successful as an Environmental Services Technician at Lawrence Healthcare, you must have:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
- Housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
