What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infection Prevention RN-Skilled Nursing Facility position at Lawrence Health Services?
Job Objective / Summary : The Infection Prevention Nurse maintains a program to provide on-going staff education and orientation. Is responsible for the continuity of physicians' orders, rounds list, resident and employee health (TB) records, and licensure records. Assures all in-services required by state and federal governments are present to staff. Functions as charge duty nurse as necessary.
Job Education, Licenses / Certifications, Knowledge & Experience : A High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as an RN in the state of Arkansas. Completion of an accredited nursing program. Strong knowledge of nursing principals, practices and procedures. Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
