Pay Range

140,700 - $178,392 annually for SES.2

168,780 - $214,032 annually for SES.3

Job Description

We have an opening for a software developer to support our Project Management ITsystems . This individual will contribute across a broad spectrum of site operations at the Laboratory. You will develop and integrate the Kahua project management software suite, Microsoft PowerBi, MicroStrategy, and data analysis tools, addressing operational system applications, while working with members of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of planners, engineers, and Information Technology (IT) staff. This position is in the Enterprise Application Services Division within the Computing Directorate, in support of the LivIT Program.

This position will be filled at either theSES.2 or SES.3 level based on knowledge and related experience as assessed by the hiring team. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if hired at the higher level.

This position may offer a hybrid schedule, which includes the flexibility to work from home one or more days per week. The specifics of the hybrid schedule, including the exact number of days required in the office and virtual work options may vary based on the needs of the team and the organization.

In this role, you will

• Implement software improvements across the O&B Project Management Office, that will improve processes and workflows
• Collaboratively contribute to the definition, design or configure, and implement modules in the Kahua software package in collaboration with project team members, consultants, and business stakeholders
• Contribute to the design and development of moderately complex Kahua workflows and integration with external systems
• Respond and resolve operational issues
• Complete technical reviews, support code, and build knowledge base
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a cohesive team
• Perform other duties as assigned
