Distributes and collects workbooks, paper and other materials for instruction.
Reads to students, listens to students read, and participates in other forms of oral communications with students.
Works with small groups of students to reinforce materials initially introduced by the teacher.
Assists individual children in need of special attention.
Operates equipment used in the classroom for instructional purposes.
Assists students in the library or media center or other locations throughout the school.
Corrects objective-type tests and quizzes and records grades.
Catalogs and files instructional materials and maintains an inventory of supplies an equipment and prepares orders or requisitions for needed material.
Assists classroom teacher with implementation of behavior management programs and plans
Other related duties as assigned by the classroom teacher.
