Lawrenceville Smiles is looking for an outstanding Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This position offers a unique schedule with a 4-day work week, allowing for a healthy work-life balance with weekends off. The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday; however, occasional flexibility may be required to work on Fridays as needed.

$24 - $30 hourly
Responsibilities:- Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
- Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
- Take and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x-rays of patients’ mouths, and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures, if necessary
- Provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums after procedures, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and schedule appointments for patient care follow up
- Get treatment rooms ready for examination and procedures by equipping them with necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Valid X-Ray License.
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA/RDA) strongly preferred but not required.
- 2 years experience working as a dental assistant is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Dentrix experience is a plus.
- References and background check required.
