Job Title : General Manager
Location : Clearwater, FL (Onsite)
Salary Range : $120k - $200k
Bonus : 20%
Relocation Assistance : Available
Note : Candidates must have experience with engineer-to-order or engineered package solutions, with a typical cycle time from book to ship of approximately three months.
Candidate Requirements :
The ideal candidate must have experience in the industrial water or wastewater industry with knowledge of engineer-to-order (ETO) processes. This role requires someone with a strong background in business development strategy and financial managementsomeone akin to a mini CFO or business development manager who understands engineered-to-order solutions.

Overview :
Our client is a leader in the industrial water and wastewater industry, specializing in engineered-to-order solutions that support energy conservation, water treatment, and wastewater treatment. Their solutions are designed to optimize efficiency and reduce environmental impact across various industries.
The General Manager (GM) will have full P&L responsibility, overseeing financial results, including orders, revenue, cash flow, working capital, and operating income. The GM is also responsible for shaping and executing the business strategy, focusing on growth, revenue expansion, and profitability. This role requires leading both commercial and technical teams to drive business development and operational excellence.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and sustain profitability.Monitor business performance against strategic goals, ensuring revenue, cash flow, and financial objectives are met.Lead business development initiatives to penetrate emerging markets and increase market share.Assess competitive landscapes and industry trends to refine marketing and sales strategies.Oversee the execution of sales strategies and customer relationship management efforts.Lead M&A acquisition strategies, identifying potential targets for business expansion.Implement transformation initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.Recruit, retain, and develop top talent to drive company success.Maintain a robust new product development (NPD) pipeline for consistent, high-quality solutions.Represent the company in industry events and serve as a key spokesperson.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.Establish and track key performance metrics for evaluating organizational success.Foster leadership development and performance management within the team.Perform other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications :
Bachelors degree required; engineering degree preferred.Minimum of 15 years of experience in technical, commercial, and business management roles, particularly within the industrial sector.Proven experience leading P&L organizations and driving global growth.Strong background in project / program management with the ability to oversee complex initiatives.Expertise in industrial M&A processes and business integration.Demonstrated success in scaling and transforming businesses.Ability to work independently while effectively leading teams.Deep knowledge of sales principles, marketing strategies, and product promotion.Strong understanding of strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership techniques.Experience in customer service principles, quality standards, and satisfaction evaluation processes.Preferred Qualifications :
MBA or advanced degree preferred.Experience in water / wastewater solutions.Proven ability to build strong organizational teams.Track record of developing and executing strategic business plans.Experience leading high-stakes profit and loss organizations.Travel Requirement :
Up to 30% travel, including potential international travel.
