Job Title : Senior Electrical Engineer

Location : Memphis, Tennesse

Onsite in the Lakeland or Nashville offices.

Salary : $86K - $140K

Overview :

Lawson Enterprises is partnering with a multidisciplinary planning and design firm, to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer in Memphis, Tennessee . This role requires a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Tennessee with strong electrical design experience and project management expertise in design / build projects.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in leading electrical engineering projects, collaborating with architects, planners, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions for both public and private sector clients.

Responsibilities :

• Provide electrical engineering design solutions for a variety of projects.
• Manage and assist with all phases of electrical engineering projects, including design development, documentation, and construction coordination .
• Work closely with design teams and project managers to ensure seamless integration of design intent into construction documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with client requirements, industry standards, and best practices .
• Oversee and review P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, electrical schematics, and detailed fabrication drawings .
• Work directly with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to develop strong professional relationships .
• Support construction teams by responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, resolving field issues, and conducting site visits .
• Maintain project documentation , including meeting notes, financial records, schedules, and client communications.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to optimize project efficiency.
• Engage in marketing and business development , including preparing project proposals and providing technical expertise.
