Overview :
Lawson Enterprises is partnering with a leading company in the Chemicals Petrochemical Plastic and Rubber industry to hire a Warehouse Forklift Operator for a 3month contract in High Point NC . This role involves managing the storage organization and transportation of raw materials intermediates and finished goods within the warehouse.
The ideal candidate will have forklift certification warehouse experience and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency . This position requires adherence to inventory procedures safety protocols and shipping regulations (DOT DHS TSCA CTPAT) while maintaining a clean and organized work environment .
Key Responsibilities :
- Pull finished goods from storage areas.
- Put away raw materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Safely drive and operate forklifts to transport materials.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Follow pick lists and Bills of Lading (BOLs) accurately.
- Operate pumps for offloading tankers.
- Perform setup and cleanup tasks for warehouse operations.
- Actively participate in safety programs 5S practices and daily checklists .
- Follow inventory procedures for proper handling and staging of materials.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments and manage returned damaged or obsolete materials.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment through disciplined daily practices and use of PPE .
- Organize and consolidate warehouse and outdoor storage areas.
- Participate in Health & Safety Security and Environmental activities such as safety meetings hazard observation and housekeeping.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulatory requirements (DOT DHS TSCA CTPAT).
- Support production teams by retrieving and supplying materials while following all safety procedures .
MustHave Qualifications :
Forklift Certification (required).
