Position Summary:
The Field Technician troubleshoots, repairs, and retrofits electrical control panels. Performs lift station service work and monthly checkups. Repairs pumps in the field or shop as required. Must be available for after-hours emergency service calls.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs pump and electrical panel equipment in various, often outdoor, settings.
· Replaces malfunctioning components, upgrades systems, runs equipment tests, and adheres to safety standards.
· Handles on-site servicing, diagnostics, and repairs for electrical products, panels, or equipment.
· Performs lift station service work and monthly check-ups.
· Diagnoses and repairs pumps in the field or shop as required.
· Is available for after-hours emergency service calls.
Required Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Valid driver’s license with good driving record; company vehicle may be supplied depending on knowledge and experience.
· Prior experience of at least 2-3 years.
· Sound understanding of applicable safety guidelines and regulations.
· Capacity to provide and follow direction.
· Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.
· Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions and in dirty environments.
· CDL preferred but not required.
