What You'll Do 

As Litigation Department Chair, you will take charge of a thriving civil litigation practice, managing a variety of cases from inception to resolution. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Handling a caseload of 30-60 cases, managing all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and trials. 
• Representing clients in general district and circuit courts throughout Virginia. 
• Mentoring and collaborating with the department’s paralegal and other attorneys across the firm. 
• Providing strategic leadership to the Litigation Department, driving innovation and growth while maintaining the highest standards of legal practice. 

What We’re Looking For 

We’re seeking a knowledgeable litigation attorney with at least 3 years of experience in civil litigation (additional experience in business, real estate, estate and trust administration a plus). Qualified candidates must be admitted to practice law in Virginia (additional jurisdictions a plus). In addition, candidates should embody our values and bring:
