We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Operations Team. This role will be pivotal in managing projects related to introducing new technology and tools, improving productivity via artificial intelligence, and addressing cybersecurity & risk management related to our technology infrastructure.
Position Overview:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the deployment and integration of technology and tools including the expanded use of AI to address productivity opportunities, while deploying cybersecurity measures, and risk management strategies. You will collaborate with Operations Leadership, legal professionals, IT specialists, and external partners to ensure that our technology initiatives are aligned with legal standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, project management experience, and a keen understanding of the intersection between law and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical projects related to cybersecurity, risk management, and AI implementation across the Firm. (with a particular emphasis on the Operational teams including Pre-Litigation, et.al.).
- Collaborate with Operations Leadership, attorneys and legal staff to identify improvement project opportunities that are technology related and develop solutions that enhance overall performance and productivity of the Firm.
- Evaluate and implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assess potential risks associated with technology solutions and develop strategies for mitigation.
- Work closely with the IT teams to integrate AI tools that optimize processes including research, case analysis, case management, client success and document / data management.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, risk assessments, and project plans.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on new technologies and processes to enhance overall productivity and security awareness.
- Stay updated on industry trends in cybersecurity, risk management, and AI, and recommend improvements to existing processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other related Project Management Certifications (e.g. CSM, PMI-ACP, etc…) highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of technical project management experience, preferably in a legal or compliance environment.
- Strong understanding of the implementation of technology solutions (e.g. Software, Platforms, Infrastructure), cybersecurity principles, risk management frameworks, and AI applications in legal contexts.
- Proven experience influence-managing cross-functional teams and projects, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical management.-
-Intermediate or better level of expertise with Project Management Software and tools (e.g. Monday.com, MS Project, etc..)
