A highly regarded law firm in New York City is currently seeking skilled applicants for their opening as an Attorney Recruiting Assistant. The Attorney Recruiting Assistant is responsible for assisting the Attorney Recruiting and Career Development & Advancement teams. The ideal candidate is creative, intellectually curious, and has a client service and team-oriented focus. This is a temporary role, lasting between April & August.
- Hybrid in New York City (50% of days each month in-office)
- Contract Pay starting at $27/hour

- Contract Role - now through August of this year.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Collaborate with the attorney recruiting team to meet attorney recruiting needs
- Assist the Attorney Recruiting Manager in planning the summer associate programs, including but not limited to: planning events, coordinating summer associate arrival and departure dates, and assisting with assignment evaluation collection as needed.
- Facilitates the end of summer exit process.
- Assists with the on campus interview program.
- Interact with candidates, search firms and hiring partners throughout the recruiting process
- Source candidates and review candidate materials
- Accurately track candidates and ensure the regular maintenance of applicant data in our applicant tracking software, including data entry
- Prepare new hire paperwork
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding
- Provide reports and statistical data as needed
- Collaborate with other Firm offices and departments to identify efficiencies and best practices
Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year of administrative support experience, ideally in a professional service, corporate, or law firm environment.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to work well with all levels of firm personnel, establish effective working relationships throughout the firm and react to challenging situations appropriately.
- Must be creative, flexible, adaptable to change and results oriented.
- Excellent administrative skills and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to respect, protect, and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Possess reliability, dependability, and motivation.
- Excellent organization and communications skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while exhibiting solid attention to detail is paramount.

- Flexibility to work additional hours, as necessary.
Consilio offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate’s general skill set, the applicability of candidate's skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
