CONTRACT | Compliance Hotline Specialist

Lawyers on Demand is urgently seeking a contract Compliance Hotline Specialist for a hybrid assignment in Raleigh, North Carolina.

This role will pay about $35/hour and will be an open-ended contract in duration.

Job Description: Compliance Specialist – Hotline Management (Raleigh, NC)

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Compliance Specialist to oversee the management of our Hotline and conflicts of interest reporting system. This role will focus primarily on the Hotline management aspect as we transition out of the current role-holder. The ideal candidate will have experience in compliance, Hotline management, and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management and day-to-day operation of the company’s Hotline, ensuring all reports are properly logged, addressed, and escalated when necessary.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure timely follow-up on issues reported via the Hotline.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure that all Hotline reports are handled in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Monitor Hotline activity for trends, potential risks, or emerging issues and report these to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting on conflicts of interest, supporting transparency and compliance across the company.
• Perform data analytics and trend analysis to assess the effectiveness of the Hotline and overall compliance reporting systems.
• Assist in providing support and guidance to employees regarding compliance-related issues and policies.
• Ensure that all necessary documentation related to the Hotline and conflicts of interest reporting is accurate, up to date, and in line with compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Compliance, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or similar role, with a focus on Hotline management and reporting.
• Strong understanding of conflict of interest reporting processes and compliance protocols.
• Proficient in data analytics and reporting, with experience in handling and interpreting large data sets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently, handle confidential information, and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations and industry best practices preferred.

Lawyers On Demand/Consilio offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate’s general skill set, the applicability of candidate's skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
