What are the responsibilities and job description for the CONTRACT | Litigation Paralegal position at Lawyers On Demand?
Lawyers on Demand is currently seeking a contract Litigation Paralegal for an assignment with one of our law firm clients.
This role will be hybrid/on-site in Costa Mesa, California. If candidates have relevant California litigation experience, remote will be considered.
This is a full time, 40-hours per week role. The contract length is currently indefinite, open-ended.
Responsibilities:
- Performing legal research, drafting various legal documents, and proofreading for accuracy
- Performing eFiling for all cases in California State courts
- Case management from intake to resolution
- Case review - providing attorneys with summaries and recommendations
- Document collection and management
- Calendar management, assisting with scheduling depositions, hearings, etc.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of litigation experience
- Experience eFiling in California State courts required
- Experience with Breach of Warranty or automotive Lemon Law cases highly desired
Lawyers On Demand/Consilio offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate’s general skill set, the applicability of candidate's skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
