Real Estate Paralegal

A highly regarded AmLaw 100 international law firm is currently seeking skilled applicants for their opening as a Real Estate Finance Paralegal. This is a long-term contract position with the potential to go temp-to-hire based on demonstrated performance.

• 6 month anticipated contract duration (potential temp-to-hire)
• Hybrid - 2-3 days in office per week in Baltimore, MD
• Contract pay starting at $40/hour (flexible based on experience)
• 40 hours per week

The qualified candidate is experienced in reviewing and analyzing commercial real estate due diligence including:

• title, survey, zoning, organizational documents and resolutions, and UCC/litigation searches;
• drafting estoppel certificates and SNDAs;
• abstracting complex recorded title documents such as ground leases, CCRs, condominium documents, and easements;
• creating, managing, coordinating, and tracking closing and post-closing documents.

The successful candidate is;

• detail-oriented and organized;
• comfortable interfacing directly with title companies, surveyors, and opposing counsel;
• works well independently;
• has polished written and verbal communication skills; complies with procedures and guidelines;
• excels at managing deadlines and multiple work streams.
• Proficient/advanced knowledge of Office Suite preferred.

The group is also looking for a paralegal that has experience drafting deeds, authorizing resolutions, and other purchase and sale closing documents, in addition to the qualifications listed above.

Lawyers On Demand/Consilio offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate’s general skill set, the applicability of candidate's skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
