Primary Responsibility:
Facilitate communications between parties involved in a property sale transaction and gather information to complete a comprehensive settlement statement to execute at closing. This position brings significant value by ensuring a stress-free closing for the buyer, seller, and agents. Doing the job successfully will lead to repeat business and better relationships with our clients.

A Day in the Life of a Closer:
· Gather information to complete a settlement statement with accuracy – commission letter, invoices, taxes, judgments, etc.
· Communication with real estate agents, buyers, sellers, and lenders, and in-house staff to ensure accurate information
· Obtain information and documentation, or other required information set forth on the commitment to ensure title clearance
· Prepare and process title files
· Conduct closing meetings with customers, agents, and lenders
· Resolve inquiries
· Educate and train other team members as requested
· Disburse files after closing
· Prepare files for policy
Closer Qualifications and Skills:
- Title or Lending experience, minimum of two years
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions
- Licensed title agent, preferred
- Extreme attention to detail required
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage work effectively and efficiently to accomplish tasks while managing multiple projects at the same time and delivering friendly service
- Ability to problem solve rationally using common sense
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions either written, oral, diagram, schedule, or electronic formats
- Effective communicator (verbal, written, and body language)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient knowledge of software programs utilized (Microsoft Suite products and industry-specific products)
