Administrative Clerk
Lax, Vaughan, Fortson, Rowe & Threet, P.A. is seeking a part-time administrative clerk to join our law firm. The ideal candidate for this position is a professional who enjoys working in a collegial and team-oriented environment but who is also self-motivated with exemplary organizational and communication skills.
Essential Job Duties:
- Answering phones and greeting visitors.
- Track and order office supplies as needed.
- Assist with billing, new client set-up and accurately enter time into the firm’s billing software (Juris).
- Organize and maintain documents in paper and electronic filing systems.
- Make various local deliveries as needed.
- Prepare outgoing mail and deliver to post office.
- Tidying office; restocking paper in printers.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent; 1 year of relevant, on-the-job experience in an office setting is required.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to provide a copy of your driver’s license and current full coverage auto insurance policy.
- Excellent work and attendance history.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and Adobe.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines without constant oversight.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday 12:00 PM – 5:45 PM
