Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and facilitating smooth communication between the front of house and kitchen staff.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
- Communicate effectively with the serving staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Assist in training new staff members on guest services and restaurant protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations; experience with Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality to all guests.
