Overview: About the Role:
The Mechanical Designer will play a crucial role in the development and design of innovative mechanical systems and components. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 10 years Mechanical Design Experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD software.
- Experience in mechanical design and solid modeling.
- Experience with design engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical design.
- Proficiency in Advaned Steel preferred, SolidWorks or Inventor accepted.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for steel interlocking panel enclosures, platforms and pipe racks
- Develop and maintain design documentation, including specifications, shop drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to refine design concepts and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical support during the manufacturing process.
