What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Customer Success position at Layer Health?
Layer Health is an AI startup spun out of MIT, revolutionizing chart review for healthcare. Using the latest LLM technology, we are vastly improving the value and impact that can be unlocked from medical record data.
We know that all organizations in the healthcare ecosystem struggle to extract and synthesize insights from medical charts at scale. Our AI layer radically speeds up and improves the quality of information gleaned from these medical records to power a wide range of impactful use cases from research to quality measurement to clinical care pathways.
Our diverse founding team brings expertise across machine learning, large language models, medicine, and human-computer interaction.
We're currently hiring a founding Customer Success Lead to build our CSM operational framework and build meaningful relationships with our customers.
You can expect to :
- Own and build a scalable strategy for new customer onboarding, implementation, go-live deliverables
- Help manage and oversee customer relationships; create meaningful partnerships and strategic growth / account development opportunities
- Handle client demos for prospects and current clients
- Identify and navigate new pilot opportunities (will not be true upsell from compensation perspective)
- Work alongside Product team to manage project-based deliverables
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to share client / user feedback with regards to product successes / areas of improvement

Expected compensation range for this role is $150,000-180,000 for Boston and NYC-based candidates; range may vary for candidates outside of the Boston / NYC metro area. Compensation is dependent on experience, overall fit to our role, and candidate location. Expected compensation ranges for this role may change over time. If your compensation requirement is greater than our posted salary ranges, please still consider applying to our role. We will make a determination as to whether an exception can be made.
Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
