We are seeking Interns to help drive the success of our innovative legal services company. The intern will work directly with attorney Kenneth D. Brown to assist with a variety of legal projects and administrative duties necessary to resolve basic to moderately complex legal issues. The internship will enable you to gain hands-on experience that can translate into various career paths.

This opportunity is intended for anyone who is looking to enhance their resume with tangible work experience in the legal field. The successful applicant will gain first-hand experience with legal issues in with several different areas of law. Responsibilities
- Assist with administrative tasks to include answering phones, scheduling, preparing client contracts, sending and receiving mail, e-filing and managing client files.
- Drafting basic pleadings and correspondence using correct spelling, grammar, punctuation and formatting.
- Organizing numerous tasks under time constraints with minimal supervision.
- Maintaining document files and case correspondence.
- Communicating with clients to provide information.
Requirements
Must be a trustworthy and assertive self-starter who can work independently. We are searching for interns that are passionate about what they do and have the desire to learn, grow and contribute to the success of our company. Hours, days and schedules are flexible. Open to all levels of education, High school, College, or Law School. Must be a current student.
Compensation
Pay is $7.25 per hour.
Our interns are the primary beneficiaries of the time and tutelage of our staff and attorney. The economic reality is that our internship programs are a cost to the firm and the primary benefit derived by the firm is the relationship with talented students and not the work provided by those students who may have limited or no ability and or experience necessary to perform valuable tasks in the office. The internship provides training that is similar to that which would be given in an educational environment. If your school offers credit for our internship opportunity our firm will facilitate the receipt of academic credit. The internship will accommodate your academic commitments by running from May 2025 – August 2025 during summer break. There is no entitlement to a paid job at the conclusion of the internship. Our interns are first and foremost students and are not employees.
