What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Layne's of Arkansas Inc?
As a Line Cook, your main responsibilities will be to prepare our fresh daily hand-cut chicken, breading it in our uniquely seasoned breading and frying it to perfection in our state-of-the-art fryers, manning our griddle plate where we toast our authentic Texas toasting bread, and grill our cheese and bacon for our famous club sandwiches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the front cashier and drive-thru on the number of customers present.
- Communicate with other cooks on food status and speed.
- Assist with prep.
- Ensure the kitchen remains immaculate, cleaning as often as possible
- Keep up to pace with orders from both the front and drive-thru.
Required Qualifications:
- Have the ability to communicate effectively.
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
- Have the ability to lift and carry 55 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have experience in a fast-food concept.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
