SCHEDULE
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team with a flexible schedule that adjusts seasonally.
Schedule:

Summer (Full-Time): Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and every other Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.

Off-Season (Part-Time): Reduced, flexible hours within the schedule listed above.
GENERAL PURPOSE
Performs a variety of entry level technical duties as needed to assist in the preparation, review and maintenance of engineering documents, reports and information. Assists in monitoring compliance and quality with various engineering standards and expediting the delivery of engineering services. Performs engineering related field studies and collect minor survey data to support studies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Promotes and follows the City's mission statement, values and expectations.
- Performs or aides in traffic counts and sewer and storm water flow metering.
- Performs field and/or site reviews to gather project information; creates drawings from survey data.
- Prepares preliminary infrastructure designs.
- Performs drafting of engineering designs to show existing improvements, right-of-ways, utilities, roadways, buildings, etc.
- Assists staff engineers with the review of utility line video inspections and analysis of quality and required maintenance; research and data entry of utility modeling data; programming, placement and analysis of traffic counters; sidewalk quality inventory; other associated tasks.
- May participate as a member of a field survey crew or perform various routine field duties;
- Utilizes various computer programs in the development and maintenance of engineering documents, specifications, plans and computer aided monitoring systems.
- Performs routine drafting as needed to update City maps to show changes in City boundaries, additions of subdivisions, streets, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school; plus one (1) year of college level studies in an engineering related field;
One (1) year of experience performing above or related duties;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience
