Schedule : Monday - Friday (8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm), occasional weekend hours may be required for urgent repairs / issues.

A Parking Meter Collection Supervisor has oversight of the parking meter management and collection for the City of Burbank. At the direction of the manager and City, Supervisors are also responsible for the reconciling of all coin revenue data against meter collection data to ensure accuracy, identify areas for investigation and review training concepts with staff. This position is a driving position and requires a valid CA Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to :

Responsible for basic repair and maintenance of parking meter equipment as well as the devices which are used to collect revenue from them (soldering and / or components replacement).
Participate in new meter initiatives as far as planning, roll out, install and review of the new technologies at the request of the client.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the meter technician.
Handle customer service issues and disputes.
Responsible for the coin revenue collection from the meters.
Security of all coin revenue from the moment it is collected to the time it is picked up each day.
Ensure compliance with local parking regulations and LAZ Parking policies.
Perform compliance checks during field audits, counsel parking meter technician verbally or engage the disciplinary process with manager as required.
Using MS Office Suite to generate daily, weekly and monthly reports / slides that are delivered to LAZ Parking Management and the City.
Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions.

Education :

High School Graduate or equivalent.

Experience :

2 years in a Supervisory role.

Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.

Parking management experience is preferred but not required.

Ability to be flexible in schedule in order to meet operational needs. This may require occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours.

Physical Demands :

Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.

Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.

Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.

Ability to handle pallet jack manually
