The Spirit of the Position :
The Assistant Facilities Manager oversees the operations of a location(s) under the direction of the Facilities Manager to ensure 24 / 7 professional parking management. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Assistant Facilities Manager will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned location(s).
Schedule : This will consist of four 10-hour days with rotating weekends. One week will be Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Another week will be Tuesday through Friday. All shift times are 3 : 00 pm until 1 : 00 am except Sundays, which will be Noon until 8 : 00 pm
Principal Job Duties :
- Lead, direct, and develop a team of employees at parking location(s).
- Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of on-site employees.
- Identifying high-potential employees to support the organization's continued growth.
- Responsible for developing client relationships and business retention.
- Organize and narrate parking management skills for Supervisors and Team Leads.
- Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements outlined in the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and our clients.
- Ensure that increased revenue, managed expenses, and customer satisfaction are maximized by maintaining the highest service thresholds and initiatives aligned with our various clients' expectations.
- Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from operating assigned location(s).
- Communicate with the local police department and emergency management teams regarding operations.
- Help assist with our event operations within LAZ Parking.
- Implementation and completion of other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from assigned location(s).
- Display superior customer service and train others to engage with customers appropriately.
- Troubleshoot and fix equipment within the operation; obtained a basic level of IT troubleshooting
- Work with and schedule vendors to help with any issues within the operation
- Additional related duties as assigned.
