In the Media, Entertainment & Sports group, our team leverages Lazard's extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, restructuring, and strategic advisory services. By combining these core capabilities with in-depth industry knowledge and deep relationships, the group provides publicly traded and private companies with best-in-class strategic advice and execution capabilities on a global scale. The group’s core verticals include music, television/film, advertising, digital media, legacy media, and sports, among others.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $185,000 - $250,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Base salary is one component of Lazard Financial Advisory’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.

We’ll trust you to:
- Perform financial analyses and create models
- Prepare and create client presentations and meeting materials
- Interact with client senior executives
- Help to manage deal processes
- Mentor and coach Analyst bankers
- At least 3 years of investment banking experience (M&A experience strongly preferred)
- Strong client and presentation skills
- Strong quantitative background and analytical/technical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
- A demonstrated team player attitude and leadership qualities with a strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
- Top academic performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, and maturity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to manage a variety of transactions simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree required
