Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager/Estimator to oversee and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to negotiate effectively with various stakeholders. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
Duties
- Manage all phases of electrical projects, including planning, estimating, execution, and closing.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project specifications are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets while monitoring progress against established timelines.
- Conduct construction estimating to provide accurate pricing for project bids.
- Utilize software tools such as ProCore for project documentation and management.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
- Lead project meetings to communicate updates, address challenges, and foster teamwork among all stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience
- Proven experience in electrical project management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction estimating, and construction management practices.
