Starting Pay Rate: $12/hour tips= $16

We are looking for Dishwashers and Busser/Runners to join the Lazy Moon Mills/Colonial team! If you are a hardworking individual that wants to be a part of our team, we want to meet you! Opportunities to move up to other kitchen positions and front counter positions will be made available. Note that these roles requires availability to work at least three 5-8 hour shifts per week including weekends.

Dishwasher Responsibilities:

• Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary (e.g. wooden peels, large pans, and large food storage bins)
• Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Remove garbage regularly
• Sanitize the dish room area, including the floor
• Assist bussers in the dining room when necessary
• Other duties as requested

Busser/Runner Responsibilities:

• Run food out to guests in a timely manner
• Ensure guests are happy and taken care of
• Collect used dining ware and trash from dining areas and bring to dish room
• Keep dining room clean as well as other regular cleaning tasks including cleaning drink machine and bathrooms
• Clean any spills and broken glass immediately
• Assist counter with front of house tasks
• Report any incidents to upper management, such as unhappy guests or broken facilities
• Other duties as requested

Skills:

• Restaurant experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
• Time management skills
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work 3 shifts per week, including weekends
