What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Assistant position at Lazy Q Ranch (Quanta Services Training Facility)?
- Prepares salads, sauces, desserts, etc. according to proper preparation methods.
- Slices/cuts meat according to proper preparation methods.
- Washes, cleans, and slices/cuts vegetables.
- Seasons and marinates foods.
- Cuts and plates desserts.
- Bakes desserts on occasion.
- Assists Chef in meal preparation.
- Preps drink station.
- Washes pots, pans, and dishes as necessary.
- Maintains area through shift in clean orderly fashion.
- Has knowledge of proper food handling procedures and government regulations regarding the food code.
- Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
