Housekeeping Attendant
Lazy River At Granville is seeking individuals who are looking for seasonal work. One of the most important jobs here is keeping the grounds beautiful. We are always working to make sure our restrooms, cabins, and general grounds area are clean and well kept. The ideal individual for this position will be of the same mind. This position will be open April-October with the majority of hours occurring during the summer months (May-Sept). 20-30 hours per week. All applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 4 months. For the right individual this could become a year around position.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning various areas in the campground including but not limited to: Bathrooms, Cabins, Laundry Facilities, Pool, and Game Room.
- Keeping track of cabin inventories and notifying appropriate personnel of missing or damaged items.
- Maintaining a well organized work space, keeping cleaning supplies organized and easy to locate
- Notifying the appropriate personnel when supplies are running low
- Weeding outdoor garden areas
- Picking up trash throughout the campground
Key Knowledge, Skills and Ability Required:
- Ability to work well with others
- General knowledge of housekeeping
- Ability to follow directions regarding what chemicals to use when
- Organization and task completion
- Health and Safety conscious
Qualifications
- Able to work independently and as a team player
- Pleasant and courteous
- Ability to use time efficiently and possess good organizational skills
- Must be able to lift minimum of 25lbs
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
