SUMMARY: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced RV Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for assessing RV damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and working closely with customers, insurance companies, and technicians to ensure a smooth repair process. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of RV body repair processes, and excellent customer service abilities.

- Damage Assessment: Inspect damaged RVs to assess the extent of structural, cosmetic, and mechanical damage.
- Estimate Preparation: Utilize estimating software to generate precise and competitive repair cost estimates, including labor, parts, and materials.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain damage assessments, repair plans, and cost breakdowns.
- Insurance Coordination: Work directly with insurance adjusters to provide necessary documentation, negotiate claims, and ensure approvals.
- Work Order Management: Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure accurate parts ordering, scheduling, and workflow.
- Quality Assurance: Review completed repairs to ensure quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction before vehicle delivery.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain thorough records of estimates, approvals, and repair processes while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Sales & Upselling: Recommend additional services or upgrades that enhance customer experience and vehicle longevity.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in RV or automotive estimating, collision repair, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of RV structures, materials, and repair techniques.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with estimating software (CCC, Mitchell, or similar), and general computer skills (Excel, email, etc.).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer interactions and documentation.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot damage, inconsistencies, and ensure precision in estimates.
- Customer Service: A professional and friendly demeanor when working with customers, vendors, and insurance representatives.
- Certifications (Preferred): I-CAR, RVDA, or ASE certifications in estimating or body repair.
