Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Sales Process
- Knows and implements dealership policies and procedures.
- When not conducting business, is seated at the sales desk.
- Works with sales management to effectively structure deals for maximum profit.
- Analyzes credit reports.
- Structures deals in accordance with lender and dealership guidelines.
- Performs credit interviews, prepares credit applications.
- Sells service contracts and ancillary products.
- Presents optional products via menu 100% of the time.
- Receipts deposits immediately.
Compliance
- Adheres to a standard of professional ethics and is respectful to customers.
- Knowledgeable of state regulations regarding finance and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Never intentionally misrepresents a deal.
- Books out deals accurately. Never misrepresents equipment.
- Verifies accuracy of all material information on the credit application and submits to lender.
- Maintains confidentiality of customer information.
- Discloses financial information to customers.
Lender Relations
- Maintains good lender relations.
- Maintains a lender guide of programs currently used and obtains a working knowledge of them.
- Evaluates new lender programs.
- Goes over deals with lenders. Works all deals diligently.
Communication
- Maintains a clean and organized office.
- Communicates all problem deals to management immediately.
- Addresses missing stipulations communicated from lender immediately.
- Interacts with appropriate departments.
- Organizes meetings, trains and supervises sales staff of any changes in lending guidelines, regulations and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Trains administrative personnel on assembling funding packages.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ financial services experience, preferably in high volume recreational vehicles sales or auto sales.
- Ability to handle up to 75 deliveries per month.
- Ability to multitask and complete duties in a timely, efficient manner.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication skills.
