LB&B Associates Inc. is accepting applications for Electronic Technician I at NAS Whidbey Island, WA.
The role requires a strong background in electronic maintenance, troubleshooting, and managing computer operating systems.
Security Clearance: Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance and have relevant certifications.
Responsibilities / Requirements:
- Support the COMS contract as an Electronics Technician.
- Study and translate schematic drawings for electronic systems.
- Troubleshoot basic electronic circuits and perform component level repairs.
- Manage and administer computer operating systems in Windows, Linux, and Red Hat environments.
- Install operating systems, software patches, and perform software security maintenance.
- Install and configure networking equipment such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Two years of electronic maintenance experience.
- Ability to study and translate schematic drawings.
- Experience troubleshooting basic electronic circuits and complex visual systems.
- Working knowledge of computer operating systems and microcomputer hardware/software.
- Knowledge of networking equipment installation and configuration.
- IAT-I certification with A Certification or equivalent.
