What are the responsibilities and job description for the Juvenile Programming Officer/Family Services and Support position at LB-CK Juvenile Services?
The Program Coordinator will specialize in assisting juvenile offenders and their families with community based services and/or evidence based programming. The PC will provide tools to help youth remain in home or reintegrate back into the community, assist in developing community support that focuses on specific needs of the youth and family and work with all parties to help the youth and family achieve success both during and after supervision. The PC will work with juvenile offenders and their families referred to the Immediate Intervention Program (IIP), who come through Juvenile Intake and Assessment Program (JIAS), are placed in the custody of KDOC-JS, assigned to Juvenile Intensive Supervision Probation (JISP) or are released from the Juvenile Correctional Facility on Conditional Release (CR.)
