Job qualifications
Have a love for children. Be reliable and friendly. Being on time is a must
Excellent communication skills.
NYS Certification or study plan preferred for Lead Pre K teacher. BA/AA with ECE credits needed for infant toddler teacher.
Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.)
Encourage children to interact and resolve occasional conflict.
Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum. (Identify shapes, numbers, colors, crafts, etc.)
Organize nap and lunch/snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe.
Track children’s progress.
Communicate with parents regularly.
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
