What are the responsibilities and job description for the CXT-Quality Control Technician - Precast position at LB Foster?
As a CXT Quality Control Technician, you are responsible for L.B. Foster product support and administration and monitoring quality assurance programs to comply with company standards and customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished goods to specified criteria and test methods.
- Communicate nonconforming product/out of tolerance conditions to team members and supervisors.
- Reject product when requirements are not met.
- Keeps quality records and supporting management in maintaining ISO certifications
- Assist with determination of root cause of non-conformances and participate in generation of corrective actions.
- All other duties as assigned.
What You Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Precast Quality Control experience preferred
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment involving heavy machinery and equipment
- Ability to prioritize and use time efficiently
- A focus on problem solving and teamwork
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Average proficiency in mathematics
- Good visual acuity
