Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the housekeeping department and relevant staff members
Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures
Prepare budgets and reports for the housekeeping department
Establish standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff
Plan work schedules and room assignments for staff
Train and support housekeeping staff to deliver consistent service
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitary standards
Handle guest complaints and requests promptly and with courtesy
Inspect the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and public areas
Order and control housekeeping supplies and equipment
Interact with vendors and maintain good professional relationships
Conduct performance evaluations of housekeeping staff and manage any necessary disciplinary actions
Clean guest rooms and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and changing linens
Perform tasks such as laundry and inventory management
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate team members
Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a housekeeper or in a similar role
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
