Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly when host is busy, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and bathrooms as needed.
- Handle cash accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance guest relations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and effective communication regarding special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a breakfast restaurant is preferred but not required.
- High Volume experience is a plus.
- Strong hospitality skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance the guest experience.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as needed throughout the shift.
