Job Summary:
LBD Commercial Cleaning is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team at the LH Battery industrial jobsite in Jeffersonville, OH. This position is responsible for construction and industrial cleaning duties, helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions and take initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties across designated areas including restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and general work zones
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and surfaces
- Sanitize high-touch areas, fixtures, and equipment using appropriate cleaning agents
- Remove construction debris and dispose of waste/recyclables per site protocols
- Follow all site safety rules and cleaning procedures consistently
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking when needed
Requirements:
- Must be a responsible, dependable individual able to follow both verbal and written instructions
- Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs. without assistance
- Comfortable working in an active industrial or construction environment
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required – training will be provided
